Mai Chau 1 Day Trip

Mai Chau is located 135 kms form Ha noi and 60 Kms from Hoa Binh. Its main industry is the weaving of colourful brocades. Tho cam is used for the manufacture of clothing.

Pick you up at 8.00am at hotel in Hanoi, then depart for Hoa Binh city towards to the North west of Hanoi, it takes about 2,5 hours to get to Mai Chau(135 km). The trip is going though the green rice paddies, spectacular scenery of limestone mountain range in the North West of Vietnam. On arrival welcome drink with traditional Vietnamese known as green tea.

Then enjoy lunch with local people at the traditional house on stilt of Thai. This is the best time to learn their culture, how they have meal? What type of foods do they have?

In the afternoon, start to do easy trek around the Pomcoong village and Lac village to discover the Thai ethnic minorities. An interesting walking tour around the village will give you unforgettable memory on the trip especially when you stop at village school. Return to Hanoi at around 5 pm,drop youoff and say good bye at your hotel. Tour ends.
